Consolidated is looking for a Commercial Risk Advisor for our Commercial Lines department. The Commercial Risk Advisor sells new business and renews accounts in keeping with agency and individual goals. Must be an assertive self-starter who possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills with a desire to create and nurture relationships with clients. Requirements:

  • A college degree or equivalent insurance experience
  • Active license as required by the State Department of Insurance

Desired:

  • A desire to pursue Professional Insurance Designation, i.e. CPCU, CIC, CRM, CRIS
  • Experience with Applied – EPIC

Consolidated is looking for a Commercial Insurance Associate for our Commercial Lines department. The Commercial Insurance Associate assists the Commercial Account Manager, Commercial Account Executive, and/or Commercial Lines Risk Advisor by processing changes, renewals, rating, billing and making calls to clients and/or companies as instructed. Must be a self-starter who possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to work independently and within a team in a constantly evolving, fast-paced, multi-tasking environment. This is a full-time position in our Owings Mills office location.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years’ experience in an office environment with a demonstrated ability to manage competing demands and deadlines with accuracy and thoroughness

Desired:

  • College education or equivalent insurance experience
  • Active Maryland resident or non-resident Property and Casualty License
  • Desire to pursue Professional Insurance Designation (i.e. CPCU, CIC, CRM, etc.)
  • Experience with Applied – EPIC
